The system is used by a large number of disabled people throughout Europe, and allows them to control both their wheelchair and their home environment. Some users also use the system to communicate with other people.

The configuration system includes software for setting up the run-time user interface, defining commands and macros to be executed upon specific events, image bank for adding and keeping track of images used in the run-time GUI, audio recording etc.
The run-time system includes a highly configurable user interface. This applies to both the GUI and the kinds of input and output devices each user needs. The input might be one switch, two switches, or a touch screen. The output might be control signals for home automation hardware or a TV set, speech synthesis, or wheelchair movement control.
